EmpireCovers guarantees the size and quality of the products sent. If your product is defective or is damaged upon receipt, EmpireCovers will send an appropriate replacement.
- Before sending any merchandise back, you must contact EmpireCovers using our returns/exchanges form. Once filled out, EmpireCovers will issue a return merchandise authorization (RMA) number. These RMA numbers are valid for 30 days. All returns must have a valid RMA number and are subject to inspection prior to processing a refund. Merchandise returned without a valid RMA is subject to a 20% restocking fee.
- EmpireCovers will accept returns within 30 days of delivery of your order
- If an item is returned for any reason other than a defect in material or workmanship, there will be a 20% restocking charge in addition to the customer paying the cost of shipping the item back to us.
- All returned merchandise must be in new, unused, salable condition. Refunds for returned merchandise are for the item only. Shipping charges are non-refundable, and customers are responsible for shipping the product back to EmpireCovers.
- Packages deemed undeliverable, or refused, will be subject to an additional 10% fee once returned to our warehouse.
- All exchanges are final. No products that have been received as an exchange are allowed to be returned.
- Please note that due to their complex packing and shipping cost, all umbrella, umbrella stand, rugs, hammocks and hammock stand returns and exchanges will be charged a 20% restocking fee and the customer will be responsible for paying for all shipping costs involved. EmpireCovers will gladly correct any incorrectly shipped or defective item at no extra charge to the customer within the first 30 days of receiving the order.
- EmpireCovers is not responsible if your delivery is not received due to circumstances beyond our control. Tracking information is provided to you via email automatically once your order ships. Tracking information is also available by telephone by calling 888-872-6855 during our normal business hours. Please contact FedEx at 1-800-GO-FEDEX with your tracking number to resolve any delivery issues. We do not require a signature upon delivery and thus must insist that you ship your orders to a secured and safe destination.
Holiday Return Policy
We here at EmpireCovers understand that people like to buy gifts for the holidays in advance. We will be extending our return period for any orders between Thanksgiving until Christmas. Any orders placed between those dates will be able to be returned or exchanged their order up until February 1. Our standard returns policy will still apply to all orders within this range. There will be no exceptions to our regular return policy for orders not placed between those dates.
60 Day Limited Warranty for: Umbrella/Umbrella Stand/ Outdoor Rug/ Hammock/ Hammock Stand
Our Umbrella/Umbrella Stand/ Hammock/ Hammock Stand warranty is extended to the original purchaser and applies to defects in material and workmanship of your purchase provided your umbrella/umbrella stand is maintained with care and used only for personal, residential purposes. Frames and poles are warranted to be free from defects in material or workmanship for a period of 60 days. Fabric is covered for a period of 60 days against defects in material or workmanship. Our rug warranty is extended to the original purchaser and applies to defects in material and workmanship of your purchase provided your rug is maintained with care and used only for personal, residential purposes. All seams and stitching are covered for a period of 60 days against defects in material or workmanship. Exclusions: Items used for commercial, contract or other non-residential purposes; items damaged due to acts of nature, vandalism, misuse or improper assembly are not covered. Discoloration or fading of the finish or fabrics as a result of exposure to the elements, chemicals or spill is not covered. Corrosion or rusting of hardware and damage to frames or welds caused by improper assembly, misuse or natural causes are not covered. Wear and tear due to outdoor elements, dirt, debris, mud, chlorine other chemicals, lawn care etc. void warranties. If, within the stated warranty period, a product is found to be defective in material or workmanship, please contact our customer service department at 888.872.6855 We will, at our option, repair or replace the defective parts. Warranty is to the original purchaser and is not transferrable. Any replacement of warranted items will be in the original style and color or a similar style and color if the original is unavailable or has been discontinued.
